What is the refund policy?

14 days. No hoops to jump through. Just email your request to [email protected] within 14 days of purchasing Pro, or request here if purchased on the Mac App Store. Test the free version first!

One time purchase option!? How?

I'm old enough to remember when awesome software could be purchased once. ButterKit was designed so it can run entirely on your machine: no accounts, servers or storage required - so my costs stay low. That makes sustainable one-time pricing possible.

An optional annual plan is available if you want to support development at a lower cost. The one-time option isn’t going away, but price may go up over time.

How many computers can use my license?

Up to 5 computers per license. Easily manage or deactivate machines by clicking the "View Order" link in your email receipt after purchase.

Is there a difference between the website and Mac App Store versions?

Updates on the Mac App Store may take longer to roll out due to approval processes, and purchases are handled separately. License keys from the website only work with the website version, while the Mac App Store version manages its own purchases.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 15.6+ and M1 or newer Apple Silicon (Intel works too). ButterKit works completely offline, but requires internet for initial Pro license activation and any optional cloud models you choose to use.
